These images show a 1:48 Mod 30/31 5-inch gunhouse (correct for the “Nick’s” No. 2, 3 and 4 mounts). While Nicholas carried the shield for the gun captain’s hatch only on its Mod 18/19 mounts (in the No. 1 and 5 positions), only the prototype Mod 30/31 gun house had been fabricated when these photos were taken.
   On the finished model, the gun captain’s shield was correctly applied to Mod 18/19 gunhouses.
