Production of the 1:48 models of Nicholas began with the hull, here seen along Fine Art Models’ 18-foot model of RMS Titanic on the same scale. At the time, the Titanic model was being prepared for its introduction at the National Geographic Society’s Explorer’s Hall, Washington, DC.
